Description General Count Platov is a 54mm figure from Tradition of London's 1812 Napoleonic range. This is also the first historical figure I've painted, as I usually work with the fantastical and bizarre.
I've painted him in the colours used by the manufacturer, and added a simple base showing some frozen ground. I'm not sure what sort of weather the Cossacks fought in during 1812, but I'm sure they had a frosty morning at some stage...
