Description This warjack was painted as part of a commission job in late 2006. The army uses the green drab of the Khadoran border legions, and all warjacks are heavily weathered to show the effects of a drawn out campaign.
The numbers on the shoulder plates are Citadel transfers, coated with a layer of gloss varnish and a topcoat of brush-on matte varnish. Scratches, scrapes and burn marks have been painted on as a final stage.
The armour uses a mixture of VMC German Uniform Green, VGC Dark Green and VGC Bone White for highlights.
The frost effect on the Ice Axe blade is achieved with Jo Sonja's texture paste, applied in several thin layers. The same medium is used to create snow on the model's base.
