Description This is an early version of the grey-and-brown Mariner shown here. It was originally painted entirely in metallics, as an entry into a No Quarter Magazine painting contest.
I like the greenish brass, and the rust that has gathered on the gun barrel. Most of the weathering uses thin glazes of P3 paints, such as Bloodstone and Battlefield Brown.
