Description This unit was painted as part of a commission job in mid 2007, to accompany the warjacks shown elsewhere in this gallery. The army uses the green drab of the Khadoran border legions, and all warjacks are heavily weathered to show the effects of a drawn out campaign.
The numbers on the shoulder plates are Citadel transfers, coated with a layer of gloss varnish and a topcoat of brush-on matte varnish. Scratches, scrapes and burn marks have been painted on as a final stage.
The armour uses a mixture of VMC German Uniform Green, VGC Dark Green and VGC Bone White for highlights.
The snow effect on the model's base is built up using Jo Sonja's texture paste, applied in several thin layers. The infantry bases are designed to show the effects of an early Spring - melting snow, and more mud than the Warjack bases display.
